App covered by this policy: This Privacy Policy applies specifically to MediDay - Medication Reminder (the “App”).
1. Information you enter or use in the App
MediDay helps users manage medication reminders and health-related schedules. Depending on the features you choose and the version you use, information entered into the App may include:
- Medication details: medication or supplement names, dosage instructions, schedules, and reminder status.
- Health and appointment reminders: appointment names, dates, times, notes, and other reminder details you choose to enter.
- Family profiles: names, labels, or schedule information you enter to organize reminders for yourself or family members, if you use this feature.
- Device and app information: app version, device operating system, notification settings, and technical information needed to keep reminders working and troubleshoot problems, if collected by the App or its integrated services.
- Support communications: information you include when contacting us by email.
Medication and appointment information can be sensitive. Please enter only information needed for your use of the App, and do not use the App as a substitute for professional medical advice.
2. How information is used
Information is used to create and display the reminders and schedules you request, trigger local notifications, organize calendar entries or family profiles when those features are enabled, maintain app functionality, respond to support requests, protect the App, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Local storage and permissions
MediDay is designed to store the medication details, dosage instructions, schedules, appointment reminders, family-profile details, and other information you enter locally on your device. The App does not operate its own cloud database or upload this reminder content to a MobiKraft cloud server. Local notifications are scheduled on your device, and notification permission may be requested for this purpose.
Your device's operating-system backup settings may independently back up app data. Data handled by third-party SDKs for advertising, marketing measurement, analytics, or purchases is separate from the reminder content you store locally and is described below.
4. Advertising, analytics, marketing, and purchases
- Google AdMob: The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its SDK may process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics, and ad-related events for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where configured and permitted, personalized advertising. Google's handling of this information is subject to Google's policies and the App's actual consent and ad settings.
- In-app purchases: MediDay may offer paid features or digital purchases through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the purchase and payment transaction. MobiKraft does not receive or store your full payment-card details through the App. The App may receive purchase status or transaction-related identifiers needed to unlock and restore purchased features.
- Firebase Analytics: Firebase Analytics is used to understand app usage and improve the App. It may process app events, app instance identifiers, device/app information, and usage or diagnostic data, depending on the SDK configuration. This analytics data may be transmitted to Google/Firebase; it is not the medication schedule content stored locally by MediDay.
- Meta (Facebook) SDK and TikTok SDK: These SDKs are used for marketing and campaign measurement, such as understanding app installs, app launches, and campaign performance. Depending on their configuration, they may transmit device or advertising identifiers, app events, and technical information to Meta and TikTok. They are not intended to transmit medication names, dosage details, or reminder notes. Their processing is also governed by the respective providers' policies and the SDK configuration used in the released App.
These third-party services may process some information on their own systems. Therefore, the statement that MediDay does not store reminder content in its own cloud does not mean that no information is transmitted off the device: advertising, analytics, marketing, and purchase SDKs may send the limited categories described above to their providers. The actual SDK versions, settings, consent controls, and data disclosures in Google Play must match the production build.
5. Sharing with service providers
MobiKraft does not sell your locally stored medication or reminder content. Information may be shared with Google/AdMob, Google/Firebase, Meta, TikTok, and Google Play as described above for advertising, analytics, marketing measurement, and purchase processing. These providers may receive device, advertising, usage, event, diagnostic, or purchase-status information according to their SDK configuration and policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the App, or our rights. The App is not intended to share the medication names, dosage details, or personal reminder notes you enter with these marketing and analytics providers.
6. Retention and deletion
Medication details, reminder schedules, appointment entries, and other App content stored locally can generally be deleted by uninstalling MediDay from your device. You can also remove individual entries in the App if that feature is available. Uninstalling the App does not necessarily remove copies stored in an operating-system backup, nor does it delete data already collected by Google/AdMob, Firebase, Meta, TikTok, or Google Play under their own systems and retention policies. To request information about data held by MobiKraft or ask how to contact a provider about its data, email hello@mobikraft.dev and include “MediDay - Medication Reminder” in the subject.
MediDay does not use a MobiKraft cloud account or cloud database for the local reminder content described in this policy. If account creation or cloud sync is added in a future version, this policy and the App's deletion process will be updated before that version is released.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the way the App handles information. No device, application, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should protect their devices and use available device-lock and backup controls.
8. Children and family information
MediDay is a medication reminder and scheduling tool, not a service designed to collect children’s information. If you use a family-profile feature to manage reminders for another person, enter only information you are authorized to provide. Parents or guardians may contact us with privacy questions or requests.
9. Health disclaimer
MediDay is intended to help organize reminders. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, determine a safe dosage, or replace a doctor, pharmacist, or emergency service. Always follow the instructions provided by your qualified healthcare professional and the medication label.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, its features, integrated services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revision is made.
